This project explores a small mountain hut for overnight stays along hiking trails. The design focuses on spatial efficiency, low maintenance, and shared spaces that encourage interaction between hikers. Communal areas form the core of the building and are oriented toward the surrounding landscape, while smaller alcoves provide moments of privacy and rest. The structure is built using IsoTimber, a solid wood system suitable for construction in remote locations. Its demountable design supports reuse of materials and a circular approach to building in sensitive natural environments.
