Residential / Rooftop addition
This project proposes a series of terraced houses built on top of Enigheten, originally a factory building and now martial arts sports facility. The addition explores how housing can adapt to the everyday needs of active families. Each dwelling is organized around a generous entrance hall designed for active lifestyles, with storage, a sink, and laundry functions. A flexible room near the entrance can serve as a rental unit, home office, or additional bedroom. The new housing volume is distinguished from the existing building through a gabled roof and a shift in materiality, referencing the industrial character of the area while creating a dialogue between old and new.
